A little clarity
before we begin.
Clear answers about our services, pricing, and the support you can expect.
Who owns Helping Haven?
Emilia Di Nardo is Helping Haven’s founder and sole owner. Michelle supports the business with mobile notary services and administrative assistance.
Who are services for?
Older adults, individuals, and families looking for patient help with paperwork, technology, and everyday administration. You choose the tasks and who may be involved.
Where do you offer assistance?
In-home visits and standalone mobile notary appointments are planned for Oakland and Macomb counties, Michigan. Appointment availability and travel coverage vary by location. Remote administrative support may be available elsewhere, depending on the task and location.
What does assistance cost?
In-home assistance is $60/hour with a one-hour minimum. Remote assistance is $50/hour with a 30-minute minimum. The initial 15-minute consultation is free. No mandatory memberships or long-term commitments are required.
What does mobile notarization cost?
$10 per traditional notarial act, plus a separately agreed $25 local travel fee for standalone appointments. Travel must be agreed before the trip begins, and total fees agreed before notarization. Pricing and availability remain subject to final verification of Michigan requirements and the notary’s active commission.
Do you provide care, professional advice, or money management?
Helping Haven provides nonmedical, nonlegal administrative assistance. We do not provide financial, investment, tax, legal, insurance, or medical advice; manage or move money; recommend insurance plans; or provide hands-on caregiving. Decisions remain yours. Notarization does not establish a document’s legal validity.
Can you help with Medicare or Medicaid forms?
We can organize notices, help navigate official resources, prepare checklists, and work through paperwork using information you provide. We do not determine eligibility, recommend or sell insurance plans, make coverage decisions, or provide medical advice.
Can family members be involved?
Yes, with your permission. You choose who participates and what information can be shared.
How do I request a consultation?
Use the Contact page to join our interest list for proposed services at the displayed prices. Submitting this form is nonbinding. It does not create an appointment, reservation, or obligation to purchase services. We are gathering interest only and are not booking or providing services yet.
What should I bring to a notary appointment?
Discuss the document and identification requirements with the notary in advance. Do not sign documents ahead of time unless the notary instructs you to do so. We cannot advise which legal document or notarial act you need.
What information should I avoid sending?
Do not send Social Security numbers, banking credentials, payment-card information, insurance IDs, medical records, or sensitive documents through the contact form. A general description of the help you need is enough.
